How can I awaken my slides and negatives to new life in a simple, fast and cost-efficient way? reflecta has been offering attractive solutions since several years with their successful “x-Scan” series, fitting with the upcoming long winter evenings; they are enhancing their assortment with the X11-Scan, a model from this series.
The reflecta x11-Scan digitizes analog image sources such as slides and photo films easily and without the aid of a computer. With its brilliant IPS display of a 12.7cm (5“) diagonal and a 960x540 pixel resolution as well as a slide show feature, selecting and scanning old films and slides will become a true enjoyment. Naturally, the large color display also serves to preview the image and adjust color, since in addition to the automatic adjustment, the brightness, as well as the colors can be manually corrected. Finally, the digitized image treasures can be viewed on the large display of the reflecta x11-Scan. This way, the scanner can also be used as a small, digital picture frame. Thanks to the integrated HDMI output, the x11-Scan can easily be hooked up to a monitor or flat screen television, allowing you to view old picture treasures in a large scale format.
Der 14 Megapixel CMOS Sensor of the reflecta x11-Scan enables a high picture quality, and allows for short scan times of less than two seconds at a standard resolution of 4320 x 2880 Pixel (14MP). With interpolation, a maximum scan resolution of 5856 x 3904 Pixel (22MP) is possible. Positives, negatives, black and white films as well as 110 film, 126 film or 135 films can all be scanned. Film and slide mounts for 35 mm film strips as well as for framed slides (5x5 cm) are included in delivery. The mount for 110 film and 126 film are available for purchase as well.
As soon as framed slides or negative strips are placed into the scanner with the help of the mount, the images can be seen on the display immediately for selection, the negatives being showed as positives. With a single push of a button, pictures can be saved as a JPEG file on an SD/SDHC card (integrated card slot of up to 32GB). The built-in USB-C connection allows for finished scans to be transferred to a computer. The power supply is via a 5V/1A adaptor (USB-C), included in delivery.
